The aim of this project is to contribute to the development of productive, entrepreneurial, technological and associative abilities of SMEs and business organizations of the Food and Tourism sectors in Chile. The project started on 2017 in the framework of the AL-Invest 5.0 programme, which is funded by the European Union.
The purpose of this initiative was to develop productive, entrepreneurial, technological and associative abilities within SMEs of the sector. This was done by transfering knowledge and expertise of the Italian cross-clustering model.
The Technological Extension Center for Tourism (CETT) was created in 2016 and it provides technical assistance, technological support services while promoting digital technologies. Its aim is to have a positive impact in the productivity and development of the Tourism industry in Chile. The center helps promote the adoption of new technologies in three key areas: TICs, environmental sustainability and automatization and robotics.
National Council for Clean Production (CNPL)
The project executed by Eurochile involved the development of an Action Plan for the creation of an Area of Interest for Tourism (ZOIT) in Pica, thus allowing the sustainable development of tourism activities in that city.
Innovation Fund for Competitiveness (FIC), Regional Government of O'Higgins
This project, which was finalized in 2016, allowed more than 70 SMEs to create touristic products in services all along the heritage route that goes through 9 districts of the O’Higgins Region.
This project -funded by Corfo and executed by Eurochile- aimed to improve the know-how in the production of cheese in areas such as new technologies, food safety and accountancy in order to increase the competitiveness of local SMEs.
