The chief of COSME, from the European Union program for SME’s and business companies, Natalia Martinez, was part of the Circular Economy Latin-American forum, held in Chile. She spoke of the program and the contribution of social networks to create circular movements.

AL- Invest program is one of the most important international cooperation projects of the European Commission in Latin America and it is a key tool that facilitates collaboration between companies and institutions that want to move towards more circular business models.
Academic, scientific, entrepreneurial and innovation representatives from both Chile and other American countries were part of the diverse public that participated and interacted in the Latin American Circular Economy Forum, held on December 11th and 12th. It was organized by the Ministry of the Environment, the Business Foundation Eurochile and the Organization of the United Nations for Industrial Development, UNIDO, in Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay and Chile. The activity was also followed via streaming from different parts of the country and the continent.
The purpose is to be a space to stimulate a new circular production that would define an economic approach that leaves behind a form of linear motion. The event is organized by the Ministry of the Environment, the Business Foundation Eurochile and by the United Nations Organization for Industrial Development (UNIDO) in Chile.
On November 22nd, at the Meeting Room of the Council room city hall, the collaboration agreement between the town council and Eurochile Business Foundation was signed. Both institutions have already worked as part of Al-Invest 5.0 Program: “Partnership as a strategy to improve the productivity and competitiveness of Chilean MSME’s belonging to the food and tourism sectors".
