| Chile’s geographic characteristics place it firmly in a privileged position as an agro food power.
On the other hand, the European market progressively demands innovative and healthy products, while it offers top technology and processes to add more value to the products.
EuroChile supports the development of this sector becoming an established link with Europe to improve its competitiveness, through technological transfer, business promotion and the development of new projects.
As part of this effort, the Entrepreneurial Foundation is developing numerous projects, two of them co-financed by CONICYT to improve the link between entrepreneurs, universities and the public sector on aquaculture and processed food. These will transform into innovation projects that will improve the competitiveness of the sector and strengthen the associate clusters.
